UBIQUITINATION 17: GEARS OF THE “EYE CLOCK”

READERS SUMMARY: 1. WHY IS MELANOPSIN IS THE PHOTORECEPTOR OF THE EYE CLOCK? 2.  DO ALL PHOTORECEPTORS NEED DHA TO OPERATE? 3.  WHERE DID VISION COME FROM, LAND OR SEA? 4.  WHAT DOES OPTIMAL SIGNALING PROVIDE TO A CELL? 5.  WHAT CONTROL CELLS MOST, DHA, GENES, OR MITOCHONDRIA?   Today we start out with a lot of science but quickly we stop the deep science to explain to you how the eye clock gears work in your mitochondria. The summary offers you a simplified version of what optimal really is.   Do not die while you’re still alive. An elevated ubiquitin rates allows that to happen. Oysters are a kiss from the sea that prevents the kiss of death from visiting you too early.   Let us dive in and see why………… Several studies have established that the retina is the only tissue capable of visual and non-visual photoreception in mammals. Therefore, it appears the retina plays a vital role in circadian organization of the whole organism. Within the mammalian clade their is variability due to the levels of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) that are used in the complexity of the eye’s clock. The essential omega-3 fatty acid family member is […]

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURAL FAILURE # 5 PRIONS ARE COMPLIANT DESIGN FLAWS

READERS SUMMARY 1.  How do prions cause disease? 2. How does light in the brain work? 3. Why red light is critical in the brain? 4.  How does Fronto-temporal dysplasia and Gliobastoma multiforman link together from a prion point of view? 5.  How do all these  neurologic and mental diseases link directly back to the gut?     Today in part two of our prion blog, you are going to learn the single most important function of life’s design using quantum biology is shape adaptation in both proteins and in DNA. Shape change dictates tissue optics and tissue optics are all tied to the proper thermodynamic view of life. The reason now should be intuitive. Any changes in geometry alters energy profiles and physiologic function. The innate ability to alter protein geometry in real time enables nature’s machines to operate with the utmost efficiency. Cells and tissues allow us to morph proteins to allow life to happen properly. When we do it incorrectly, disease and death emerges. It is not hard to understand……it is just hard to believe. We do it by altering atoms using electrons and photons to move their shapes. Electrons and protons are made from leptons and […]

Energy and Epigenetics 11: Is the Force With You?

Richard P. Feynman said, “For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled.” He was talking about the epic NASA failures during the Challenger disaster in 1986, but it speaks volumes to the modern human condition today. It fits better with our infatuation with non-native EMF from technology gadgets. Nature cannot be fooled, but we certainly can be. In fact, we are the easiest person to be fooled by ourselves. Moreover, some professions are fooled everyday they go to work, and never realize it. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence!

Energy and Epigenetics 8: Quantum Autism

Thirty years ago, autism affected 1 in 500 children. In recent years, scientists have made extraordinary advances in understanding the causes of autism. Autism now is estimated to afflict 1 in 88 children in the USA. In certain parts of the USA, it is found in 1 in 44 births. But remarkably little of this understanding has percolated into popular awareness, which often remains fixated on vaccination linkage to the disease.

Energy and Epigenetics 7: The Epigenetic Toolbox

The human genome is the first draft of what we might be, but our life experience within the environment we choose to exist is where the final draft of our book is written. An architect far smarter than us has given us that epigenetic toolbox, and we now have the ability to use it by altering our behaviors to change our lives and reverse diseases.

Energy and Epigenetics 6: Quantum Cell Theory, Life as a Collective Phenomena

This will probably be the most important blog in the entire Quilt. It is how I see the three fundamental laws of nature integrating and coordinating the physiologic function of animating life. It is how all life works as a collective phenomena.

Energy & Epigenetics 1: The Infant Brain is Unique

Today, we begin to examine levee’s 6, 14, and 26 in the Quilt document for the first time. We begin to show examples of these levee’s by examining how the human brain forms and functions in an infant. This example will act as an analogy to help us understand many other processes as the blog series rolls on.

There are many countervailing influences in life that on the surface confuse our intellect. They create the appearance of paradox, enigma, and myths, and mysteries. I find when we look at the world through the hull of a glass-bottom ship, to look through a kaleidoscope at the galaxies that exist on the edge of our mind, we begin to see the sense that nature makes from the chaos of the world. I like the irony that mysteries often create. Today, we are going to use some “other observations” we have all made to show you how the mysteries of our modern world might be solved asking better questions instead of settling for the answers we have been given.

The Human Infant

It is clear in modern medicine now that we can not have optimal human brain development unless we have a secure nutrient rich food supply for both mother and child. This relationship also needs to be maintained postnatally for several years after birth until neuralation is successful. It does appear in modern neurosurgery research that human brain development is programmed genetically to a certain extent, but is more malleable then we thought because of the new science findings of epigenetics. This is also more apparent in humans than other mammals because our brain is so complex that even small changes in functional regions can lead to massive clinical changes that become apparent as the child develops. Autism and spectrum disorders are a good example of this phenomena.

CPC #6: Pseudotumor Cerebri

It has been close toa year that we last did a CPC blog post. (CPC #5 The Leaky Gut/Adrenal Fatigue Case) CPC stands for a clinico-pathologic conference that we often see in medical schools that our used for teaching students and doctors.

Today we are going to talk about a disease that has perplexed medicine for hundreds of years. Pseudotumor cerebri is also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) today. It goes by many names in the literature. I have decided to discuss this disease because it highlights many of the cornerstone principles of how quantum electrodynamic theory affect water chemistry. This change in water chemistry can lead to biologic effects. The biologic effects of water can be seen in modern humans when we look for them and correctly observe what is really going on. So today we see how the macrocosm affects the microcosm of a modern disease.

Quantum Biology 7: Sulfated Vitamin D3

There is so much buzz now in modern healthcare and on the internet about Vitamin D but does anyone really know how it is integrated into our physiology? Most people understand that Vitamin D is tied into our bone’s metabolism and our immune system’s function but there is a lot more to this story. Vitamin D and its receptor, along with Vitamin A and its RXR receptor are among the oldest chemicals life has used to exist in evolutionary biology. This alone tells you how important Vitamin D is for function. Vitamin D is directly modulated by photoelectric effect, which is a foundational law of nature and quantum mechanics. The skin and brain are both derived from neuroectoderm in all animals. In EMF 2, we saw how obesity might be related to an inflammatory condition found in the brain due to a lack of electrons and photons. Today, we are going to examine how Vitamin D works in a quantized fashion.

Many physicians have confided in me that just do not believe that Vitamin D levels are that big of a deal for most patients. When they say that to me, I return a smile. It is not that big a deal for the doctor, but it is a huge clue about what is going on with the patient. For me, it is one of the most critical lab ‘thermostat values’ that tell me about the “preload of their semiconductors” in their skin and body. Yes, it is a quantum signal, to me as a physician. If you remember from the video’s made at Paleo Fx 2011 and our Optimal reset challenge, that I said we can do a quick “biohack” using three labs and tell a lot about the person’s current conditions of existence and where they need to go. Those three labs were the HS-CRP, DHEA, and Vitamin D. So far we covered DHEA in detail in the CPC blog of 6/30/2012 and in the back half of EMF 7. We have covered HS CRP in multiple places. Inflammation is the major signal that all biologic processes and respond to. It is what the hormone panel responds to and it dictates the thermostat for mitochondrial efficiency, signaling, and control of the cell cycle. The inflammatory signal also sets the tone for “tight” circadian control via the adenosine signal.

EMF Rx: The Top Ten EMF FAQs

Soon the EMF Rx will go live in our March 2013 webinar so in advance of it, I wanted to give the EMF FAQ’s for everyone to review before you listen to the webinar. I expect there to be many questions once the webinar is released. Hopefully this will answer many of the questions you might have as the series moves forward.

These may make a lot more sense once you listen to the EMF Rx in the webinar. They will really sink in after you hear our EMF expert that we are bringing on to the site for an extensive long term look at the different aspects that EMF causes in our modern world, but here is an appetizer of what is coming.

Quantum Biology 2: Quantum PCOS

Who is Gretchen? She is a women I met at Mark’s Daily Apple monster thread two years ago. When we first met she wanted no part of the idea that maybe she was missing more pieces to the puzzle then she knew. I told her back then, if she began to test herself she would learn more about herself than she could ever imagine and it would happen fast. If you read the thread here, you will see where she began her journey. This blog is where her journey has brought her in her battle to reclaim optimal. She is also featured in my latest book on amazon, The Epi-Paleo Prescription and you can read her initial six months into this journey there with 3 other of my members. Gretchen has a blog too. She is a pretty amazing person with an amazing family and story.

Here is how her journey began as written and told by award winning author Colleen Coble in my book:

Gretchen stared at the piece of paper in her hand. The word medically discharged wavered in her vision, and she wheezed through the airways constricted by asthma. Her head was pounding, and her heart rate fluttered even faster than the pulse of pain in her head. It was the end of her military career. Even though she’d known it was coming, seeing it in black and white made her want to sink to the floor and bury her head in her head in her hands.

EMF 7: Quantum Prometheus

If you remember my podcast several years back, I told you the disease that got me interested in all this was osteoporosis. This is a disease I treat a lot as a spine surgeon. I discussed Wolff’s law in detail in the EMF 1 blog. When I realized that Wolff’s law was null and void in leptin resistance states in bone, something else radical appeared to me. I knew that Leptin Resistance signaled inflammation, and inflammation could be seen as a positive charge and loss of a negative charge on MRI’s, fMRI, and MEG studies. I also realized that MRI or NMR should show an increased flair signal on T2 weighted MRI images signifying an intracellular water loss coupled with a loss of collagen and of ATP. Collagen makes up the main protein of connective tissues in all mammals, typically 60–70% by weight. The water and collagen constitute a liquid crystalline matrix in which every cell in the body is embedded, making this system the ideal medium for intercommunication in eutherian mammals. Within this matrix we have learned about proton and electron superconduction that not only feed the underlying mechanistic pathways that most biochemistry recite but they also feed a rich “wet chemistry” that is fundamentally based upon special qualities of water. It turns out water has some prodigious quantum flexibility when it is confined in closed spaces that make it do some unique quirky things that no classic chemist would predict. These things are all predicted by quantum electrodynamic field theory. One such quirk is the use of water reverse micelles around proteins that increase enzyme action and kinetics by the order 10 to the 10th power based upon the pioneering work of Frank Mayer and Jim Clegg. Classic physics and chemistry thinks of water in its bulk form only because that is all the classic sciences can explain about it. In quantum coherence, where water acts as a total cohesive unit because it has infinite chemical freedom, water becomes highly structured chemically, from its bulk form to do some amazing things, to become extremely flexible in phase transitions between ice crystals and liquid crystals and gas vapor as it gets confined in small diameter nanotubes in our cells. Water dynamics and actions are quantumly altered as it is confined within nanotubes it develops properties that allow it to collectively work dynamically within reverse micelles and in proton superconducting cables that align along collagen in the cells cytoarchitecture to allow for super fast semiconduction. This has been reproduced by many physics and molecular biology researchers in electron photomicrographs and X-ray diffraction studies. The most amazing property water develops as it is confined in these nanotubes, it becomes a super catalyst that organic chemistry has missed, because it accounts for the energy of activation of biochemical reactions and enzymatic kinetics. It is not ATP that does this, ever!! ATP has another more critical function. It unfolds protein in cells to open water binding sites to form these super conduction cables to create 100% energy efficiency.

EMF 6: Quantum Time

“The miracle of your mind isn’t that you can see the world as it is. It’s that you can see the world as it isn’t.” – Kathryn Schulz

Without risk, life is worthless; without risk, biology does not work. Evolutionary biology is based upon the random risk of natural selection and and the conditions of existence. Darwin coined both of these terms but only explained the first well. The second idea was his better one, but he simply could not explain what conditions of existence meant. The reason was simple. He did not understand quantum field physics. Of the two, he said he knew, the latter was the most powerful force in biology. He was dead right, but since his time evolutionary biology and my critics have believed natural selection is the most important. It is not true. Today, we know “conditions of existence” meant epigenetics. Darwin spent the rest of of life looking for ‘epigenetics’ in an idea labeled “Pangenes”. He believed that Pangenes were responsible for translated environmental influences that have now become known as epigenetics today. Today we know that small frequency EMF’s called the Schumann resonance imprints water and creates life where their was none by using the power of quantum coherence of water. Evolution is in large part, about how these electromagnetic epigenetic signals are transferred to the living organism to living organism by bioelectrical cellular communication; it’s comparing quantum resonance notes and frequency notes and copying and pasting new epigenetic signals on RNA and DNA to make new genetic recipes to create a survival solution from life’s current condition of chaos. When we understand how that dish was created, we gain deep insight of how to keep that dish tasting fresh every time a generation is replicated. Today trans-generational epigenetics tells us something is badly off in our species.

EMF 5: What are the Biologic Effects of EMF?

Today’s blog is not long on science. Consider it my Valentine’s day present for you. It is long on observations made on humans and animals and EMF’s. Most of the observations have been done by Russians and described in their literature. One human experiment done on US foreign soil will be eye opening to you. What EMF does to cells directly is it causes a massive stress response that simulates leptin resistance, a heart attack or a panic attack.

It can affect plants too. The sensations are present while often the labs are completely normal and your doctor remains stumped as you sit in the ER. As time elapses the labs become trashed because the molecular clock no longer is able to work precisely but by that time you are closer to Michael Jackson’s fate than a reversal of health.

There are many forces at play to keep this information from you. If you were to understand its full power the economy of the world would likely collapse. This is why this info is systematically kept from you.

EMF 3: The Origin of Life

“If you are out to describe the truth, leave elegance to the tailor.” —Einstein

The implications of the last blog, EMF 2 are massive for biology. Those two space experiments show us that time contractions when we lose the sensation of magnetism, and it dilates when we increase it. This implies we can die faster or reverse disease if we understand how it affects us. With this knowledge I knew I could help reverse many neolithic diseases. But it dawned on me on the plane ride home it also might explain how life really began in our oceans.

The irony here, is two days before, I was standing in Rome in the Sistine Chapel showing my son the center panel of Michelangelo’s masterpiece ceiling. It was then I realized I might want to know God’s thoughts. I want to know God’s thoughts in a biologic way……..and the path to that way used an alphabet called evolution.

EMF 2: Einstein, Meet Leptin

“You’ve got to work at living… when 99% of the globe works at dying daily; Denial of the truth will lead you into blind alleys. Let go of your paradigm, accept what nature designed, and embrace your ultimate potential” -Gretchen Bronson (starfish)
Why is the clock the most important part of the story of life?

Have you ever had a dream that seems so large in scope, it just seems like it just possibly cannot come to fruition? I have for the last 7 years. Today, I am going to share it with you.

It is time. I believe all dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. It is always easier to make a dollar off a dream, but it is a lot tougher to make a difference with one. I think EMF-2, is going to do just that for everyone.

I told you all last March, on Sean Croxton’s underground internet radio show, and at Paleo FX 2012, that environmental mismatches all cause inflammation. Many of you found it a bold and interesting statement, but I never told you WHY. The reason I did not, was because I did not feel you were ready to understand my perspective, yet. Today that changes. When you do not understand someone’s perspective often times what they say sometimes sounds a bit ‘bizarre’ to you. The reason it does is because you have no frame of reference for understanding, primarily because you were never taught that space/time, might be the most critical factor in understanding trans-generational epigenetic biology today. That is going to change today as well.

BRAIN GUT 13: WHERE OPTIMAL MEETS ALL WORLD PERFORMANCE

READERS SUMMARY: 1.  WHY IS DHA IN ITS EVOLUTIONARY PACKAGE THE KEY TO THE MASSIVE METABOLIC RATE OF THE HUMAN BRAIN AND HEART? 2. WHAT EVER MAKES CELLULAR SIGNALING “CLEAN” FOR AN ORGANISM LEADS TO OPTIMAL HEALTH. 3.  WHAT THE BIOCHEMISTRY OF NEURAL LIPIDS MEANS FOR HOMO’s SOLUTION? 4.  WHAT ARE THE KEY METABOLIC NEUROLOGIC KEYS TO OUR REAL SOLUTION FOR HEALTH? 5. WHY METABOLIC NEUROPHYSIOLOGY = OPTIMAL HEALTH?     Many have asked me how I have the physical and mental ability to do all I do.  It is pretty simple. On my own journey to Optimal I stumbled into some neural science that showed me where optimal nutrition meets optimal performance of all types.  Since I found this evolutionary use, all my abilities have increased exponentially.  I can do things now that I could not do even in my prime years when I was in college, medical school, or in neurosurgical residency.  I mentioned this when I was in Austin in March. This blog series is my goal of fulfilling a promise I made in March 2012 at Paleo Fx that there was a lot more to the paleolithic template than the current tribe believed.  It was there, […]

BRAIN GUT 12: DARE TO DISAGREE?

READERS SUMMARY: 1.  IS NUTRIENT DENSITY FROM A USDA CHART IMPORTANT IF IT IS OUT OF CONTEXT FOR THE SPECIES IN QUESTION? 2. PALEO SAYS PUFA’S ARE BAD.  ARE THEY REALLY; OR IS OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THEM LACKING? 3. WHY IS IODINE A CRITICAL FOR A HUMAN? 4.  IS GETTING A HASHIMOTO’S DIAGNOSIS LIKE GETTING A CANCER DIAGNOSIS? 5.  DO WE HAVE A GIANT PHARMACY IN OUR HEAD? We recently heard about nutrient density in the Brain gut 5 blog.  It seems all of a sudden it has become a hot topic in the paleosphere too now.  The one issue however that is not well understood or talked about enough in my opinion is putting this key factor in proper evolutionary and scientific context.  When someone uses the FDA and USDA massive databases to look at foods with the highest nutrient densities to make large assumptions what is best and what is not, you might be smart to begin to question if that is a wise assumption to begin with.  Let me explain.  The tables are measuring nutrient density of foods against other foods and not against the species of animals eating those foods.  What it does not do is taking into […]

Circadian Biology Webinar

[show_if has_tag=”No-Webinar-2012-08-August”]Buy Webinar[/show_if][show_if has_tag=”Webinar-2012-08-August”]ACCESS YOUR WEBINAR[/show_if] We talk a lot on the blog about the brain-gut axis and the implications our gut has on our overall health, including: Most brain disease and neurodegenerative disorders start in the gut (tumors, autism, depression, high blood pressure, Alzheimer’s, hypertension, heart disease) start in the gut. Autoimmune diseases like MS starts in the gut when your gut flora is changed to a more simplified flora, allowing inflammation to pass from your gut into your liver and to flood your brain blood barrier. Infertility starts in the gut by allowing inflammation to overwhelm your system and affect your HPA, destroying its ability to make the releasing hormone that releases sex hormones. Obesity is caused by inflammation getting through the gut, simpifying the gut flora, and invading the blood brain barrier to destroy the HPA and hypocretin neurons, which is equivalent to driving on the Long Island Expressway with mud on your windshield, no wipers, no windshield wiper fluids and your car only goes 20 mph.  Your body is essentially in-operational, unable to keep up with the demands of a taxing environment; needless to say, this is very dangerous. Everyone thinks that things like bacteria, candida and carbohydrates are what screws your gut […]

BRAIN GUT 10: The Other Trip through the Rabbit Hole:

My name is Danielle Thatcher and here is my story of the rabbit hole I fell into with MJ when we met Dr. Kruse on his vacation:   When I first sat down to write about my experience with meeting Dr. K, I had the highest of hopes of writing something that would and could inspire many. But when I did sit down to write…. I had nothing.  Literally, nothing. My mind was blank.  I take that back, I have the notes that Dr. Kruse so willingly wrote down for me and the notes that MJ took as well.  But I spent an entire day with this great man, and my mind is blank. Pretty scary for a 45 year old woman!   Before I forget, this is only one of the supplements Dr. Kruse asked me to consider with my doctor for me. Pregnenolone.   If you have insufficient levels of pregnenolone, you can have memory loss, sleep disorders, depression, fatigue, symptoms that mimic Alzheimer’s and other debilitating conditions. I am experiencing many of these symptoms, so I am sure to take my supplements and just waiting for everything to “click” and this machine to start functioning again properly.   The good news […]
