The Redox Rx: How to Improve Your Redox Potential

Redox potential is the gain of electrons in our cells to help energy transmission flow efficiently. Detoxification is directly linked to the redox potential of any cell. In my Redox Rx, I’ll give you a summary of the redox potential to help you understand the concept and steps you can take to improve your redox potential.

Energy and Epigenetics 12: Is Your Battery Charged?

So what is the most important signaling pathway in all life forms for longevity and for optimal health? That is the subject of this blog. The short is answer is the redox potential stored in the membranes, organelles and the exclusion zone of water in cells. I will be bold to say that maintenance of intracellular redox homeostasis is the most important thing to get right to get Optimal.

Internal Stressors with Dr. Tim Jackson: Zeroing in on the Root Causes of Leaky Gut, Thyroid Issues, Adrenal Fatigue & More

You’ve been treating your “adrenal fatigue” for years, but if you stop your adaptogens, DHEA or other adrenal supplements, you fall apart. You’ve been addressing your leaky gut for a year, but if you stop your probiotics, glutamine, aloe vera, etc., your stomach begins to hurt and you get diarrhea. You gave up gluten, but your thyroid antibodies remain elevated. You can’t seem to warm up despite taking thyroid medication. Your cortisol and DHEA won’t balance, despite correcting your sleep hygiene/circadian cycle. You exercise several days per week, but the more you exercise, the fatter you get. What do all of these things have in common? Internal stressors!

Achieving Optimal: Dr. Tim Jackson on Healing Your Hormones

If you have a documented deficiency of a vitamin or mineral, it would only make sense to replace that nutrient. If you have less than optimal hormone levels, it is becoming ‘in vogue’ to supplement or replace that hormone as well. But with hormone deficiencies showing up at increasingly earlier ages, at what point do we draw the line and investigate alternatives?

Energy and Epigenetics 7: The Epigenetic Toolbox

The human genome is the first draft of what we might be, but our life experience within the environment we choose to exist is where the final draft of our book is written. An architect far smarter than us has given us that epigenetic toolbox, and we now have the ability to use it by altering our behaviors to change our lives and reverse diseases.

Energy and Epigenetics 5: The Quantum Brain

In the end, science is just a progress report of where we are now in our understanding. It is not our final destination, but it is a data point on the road to understanding. Where we are today in science, in understanding how the brain really works, is close to where man was 2,000 years ago in trying to understand how the planets moved in relation to the sun. We are nowhere close to where we should be. So if we are that far away in our understanding, how can we begin to make sense of it all? We can learn a lot from the macrocosm of space if we scale it to biology on this planet.

Energy and Epigenetics 4: Light, Water, Magnetism

Today’s blog post is about the three laws of nature for all life anywhere on our planet. These are axiomatic laws not subject to debate, research or your beliefs. All decisions that life has made revolve around these three things. Reducing things to these three things is simple, but the application in how life and evolution has done it is very complex. Today, we begin to unravel the mysteries.

Quantum Biology 10: Hormones 102

Two years ago I gave you the Hormone 101: Clinical thoughts revealed blog post. That was a small dose of reality at the beginning of this journey. There was some foundational hormone biochemistry there given to you in simple terms. Most people jumped all over the free T3 link to pregnenolone in the post. They thought that “their cure” for hypothyroidism and/or chronic pregnenolone steal syndrome was increasing free T3 or just lowering reverse T3 to raise pregnenolone. So what was not observed?

A trip down memory lane for the hormone cascade

Leptin resistance occurs first in the brain. Then insulin resistance happens soon their after in the liver, gut, and peripheral tissues. This eventually leads to adrenal resistance. This resistance occurs at the PVN in the brain. (Brain Gut 16: Adrenal Fatigue Rx) It does not happen in the adrenal gland. What happens is that the outflow from our sympathetic system in the brainstem overwhelms the parasympathetic nervous system. This increase in overall cortisol initially, is the stress hormone that allows for fight or flight syndrome (life or death). As this condition persists chronically over time, cortisol levels decrease and flatline on adrenal stress index testing.

CPC #6: Pseudotumor Cerebri

It has been close toa year that we last did a CPC blog post. (CPC #5 The Leaky Gut/Adrenal Fatigue Case) CPC stands for a clinico-pathologic conference that we often see in medical schools that our used for teaching students and doctors.

Today we are going to talk about a disease that has perplexed medicine for hundreds of years. Pseudotumor cerebri is also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) today. It goes by many names in the literature. I have decided to discuss this disease because it highlights many of the cornerstone principles of how quantum electrodynamic theory affect water chemistry. This change in water chemistry can lead to biologic effects. The biologic effects of water can be seen in modern humans when we look for them and correctly observe what is really going on. So today we see how the macrocosm affects the microcosm of a modern disease.

Quantum Biology 6: Bipedalism

‘For any quadruped to get up on its hind legs in order to run is an insane thing to do. It’s plain ridiculous.’ – Owen Lovejoy

Today, we are going to talk about the one thing that really separates humans from all other mammals. We began to walk upright before we developed a big brain. It was our first defining evolutionary change from chimp to human. The reasons why our legs grew first is generally credited to our big brain needing a larger birth canal and causing changes in the genitourinary system. There is one big problem with this theory; We grew legs long before we developed a large complex brain. The brain did not drive bipedalism.
Many modern evolutionary biologist take upright walking for granted because they can do it easily so it appears a natural progression of evolutionary progress. Not even Darwin could explain this evolutionary jump. There has never been another change like it in the biologic record.

It might seem a poor topic for some, because many people have found it easy to explain in their own mind; After all, bipedalism did not strike the early evolutionists as a “difficult thing” to explain. When Darwin wrote ‘The Descent of Man’ he did not even bother to list it in his index. Fact check that. It is true. He choose to completely ignored it, because he could not explain it, and just thought going from all fours to two feet was natural for us! The sequence of events seemed clear enough at that time.

March Webinar: The EMF Rx

March Webinar: The EMF Rx. There are so many gems in this webinar.  Together, we’re going to connect some pretty important dots to help you on your road to optimal. Why people on the Paleo diet often experience increased constipation How fluoridated water is causing DEHYDRATION, and how dehydration is at the root of all sorts of neolithic diseases, in a sense, making them chronic because syndromes persist when you’re in a dehydrated state How fluoridated water weakens the blood-brain barrier, allowing toxins normally excluded from the brain’s circulation to enter (Dr. Kruse believes fluoridated water to be the #1 cause of leaky gut in our modern world) How high LDL cholesterol levels are tied to hypothyroidism How EMF exposure is tied to increased cancer risks, childhood leukemia, headaches, “aging” diseases like Alzheimers and dimentia, and other disorders How children’s brains are affected by pulsed EMF – DANGEROUSLY Why LDL levels rise so often with a Paleo diet Why the HCG diet works in many men and women This webinar is rich with content, and Dr. Kruse is going to review the three main legs to the stool for creating optimal health — they’re simple, yet profound, and could very well give you the breakthrough you’ve been looking for to super-charge your quest […]

EMF 7: Quantum Prometheus

If you remember my podcast several years back, I told you the disease that got me interested in all this was osteoporosis. This is a disease I treat a lot as a spine surgeon. I discussed Wolff’s law in detail in the EMF 1 blog. When I realized that Wolff’s law was null and void in leptin resistance states in bone, something else radical appeared to me. I knew that Leptin Resistance signaled inflammation, and inflammation could be seen as a positive charge and loss of a negative charge on MRI’s, fMRI, and MEG studies. I also realized that MRI or NMR should show an increased flair signal on T2 weighted MRI images signifying an intracellular water loss coupled with a loss of collagen and of ATP. Collagen makes up the main protein of connective tissues in all mammals, typically 60–70% by weight. The water and collagen constitute a liquid crystalline matrix in which every cell in the body is embedded, making this system the ideal medium for intercommunication in eutherian mammals. Within this matrix we have learned about proton and electron superconduction that not only feed the underlying mechanistic pathways that most biochemistry recite but they also feed a rich “wet chemistry” that is fundamentally based upon special qualities of water. It turns out water has some prodigious quantum flexibility when it is confined in closed spaces that make it do some unique quirky things that no classic chemist would predict. These things are all predicted by quantum electrodynamic field theory. One such quirk is the use of water reverse micelles around proteins that increase enzyme action and kinetics by the order 10 to the 10th power based upon the pioneering work of Frank Mayer and Jim Clegg. Classic physics and chemistry thinks of water in its bulk form only because that is all the classic sciences can explain about it. In quantum coherence, where water acts as a total cohesive unit because it has infinite chemical freedom, water becomes highly structured chemically, from its bulk form to do some amazing things, to become extremely flexible in phase transitions between ice crystals and liquid crystals and gas vapor as it gets confined in small diameter nanotubes in our cells. Water dynamics and actions are quantumly altered as it is confined within nanotubes it develops properties that allow it to collectively work dynamically within reverse micelles and in proton superconducting cables that align along collagen in the cells cytoarchitecture to allow for super fast semiconduction. This has been reproduced by many physics and molecular biology researchers in electron photomicrographs and X-ray diffraction studies. The most amazing property water develops as it is confined in these nanotubes, it becomes a super catalyst that organic chemistry has missed, because it accounts for the energy of activation of biochemical reactions and enzymatic kinetics. It is not ATP that does this, ever!! ATP has another more critical function. It unfolds protein in cells to open water binding sites to form these super conduction cables to create 100% energy efficiency.

EMF 5: What are the Biologic Effects of EMF?

Today’s blog is not long on science. Consider it my Valentine’s day present for you. It is long on observations made on humans and animals and EMF’s. Most of the observations have been done by Russians and described in their literature. One human experiment done on US foreign soil will be eye opening to you. What EMF does to cells directly is it causes a massive stress response that simulates leptin resistance, a heart attack or a panic attack.

It can affect plants too. The sensations are present while often the labs are completely normal and your doctor remains stumped as you sit in the ER. As time elapses the labs become trashed because the molecular clock no longer is able to work precisely but by that time you are closer to Michael Jackson’s fate than a reversal of health.

There are many forces at play to keep this information from you. If you were to understand its full power the economy of the world would likely collapse. This is why this info is systematically kept from you.

EMF 4: Why Might You Need Carbs for Performance?

Today EMF-4 is going to hit a very controversial topic. Why do the younger performers perceive they need carbs for performance? For years, I have said loudly, I don’t believe it is true. Over the last 7 years I have begun to understand why their belief exists now. When you suffer from a disrupted circadian clock you perceive you do need carbs.

It has been shown recently that artificial EMF’s make our blood brain barrier and gut more permeable to carbohydrates. The micropulsations of EMF control biocycles, including the timing of mitotic rhythm and the entire cell cycle. Any major change in their frequency would be catastrophic for cells. In fact, today most of the paleo-sphere is unaware that experiments already have been done that have shown that vibrational rates near normal and slightly above the Schumann resonance, from 30-100 Hz, cause dramatic changes in the cell cycle timing.

It turns out, the most powerful shaper of our development may turn out to be the subtlest force, that is completely invisible to us and perturbs the manner in which we handle macronutrients and recycle ATP.

EMF 2: Einstein, Meet Leptin

“You’ve got to work at living… when 99% of the globe works at dying daily; Denial of the truth will lead you into blind alleys. Let go of your paradigm, accept what nature designed, and embrace your ultimate potential” -Gretchen Bronson (starfish)
Why is the clock the most important part of the story of life?

Have you ever had a dream that seems so large in scope, it just seems like it just possibly cannot come to fruition? I have for the last 7 years. Today, I am going to share it with you.

It is time. I believe all dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. It is always easier to make a dollar off a dream, but it is a lot tougher to make a difference with one. I think EMF-2, is going to do just that for everyone.

I told you all last March, on Sean Croxton’s underground internet radio show, and at Paleo FX 2012, that environmental mismatches all cause inflammation. Many of you found it a bold and interesting statement, but I never told you WHY. The reason I did not, was because I did not feel you were ready to understand my perspective, yet. Today that changes. When you do not understand someone’s perspective often times what they say sometimes sounds a bit ‘bizarre’ to you. The reason it does is because you have no frame of reference for understanding, primarily because you were never taught that space/time, might be the most critical factor in understanding trans-generational epigenetic biology today. That is going to change today as well.

The EPCOTx Rx

Today comes the blog post a few months after the Webinar that was done on gut optimization using the EPCOTx protocol. Many people have heard of GAPS and the SCD diet for gut problems, but there is not a one size fits all approach. EPCOTx is designed to do a few things after one major thing is corrected (melatonin) to get your gut working well once again. It limits inflammation while improving “gut leptin sensitivity” and once it is firmly entrenched it allow for better mitochondrial efficiency and protection of the intestinal barrier from free radicals, bad foods, and poor lifestyle choices. These things are called epigenetic effects. Watch this video to understand it more fully!

The “leaky gut” is also tied to cellular oxidation, a lack in the ability to chemically reduce the cells at night, and as a result increases cellular aging to cause disease. This protocol will help you rebuild your gut flora create the healthiest gut (which will give you the healthiest brain/gut) possible.
